After The Referendum: Public Meeting

September 18, 2014

Just announced: Following the Scottish vote on independence, Birmingham Socialist Party members will be holding a public meeting on Monday 22nd to discuss what this means for the struggle for socialism in Scotland and the UK. Despite the scaremongering carried out by big business through their mouthpieces in the media and the main political parties helping get the 'No' campaign over the line, the debate has lead to thousands of Scottish workers awakening to what capitalism in Scotland and the UK really means for them. Come and hear Socialist Party national committee member Lenny Shail explain why the no vote is not a defeat, but could well be the start of a new period of class struggle in Scotland:
