Four men holding anti-cuts protest banner

Don't Vote For More of The Same This May!

In the four years since the last council election, Birmingham's Labour council have overseen £350m worth of cuts, a 30% hike in council tax, the selloff of £250m worth of city assets, and a bruising 15 month bin strike.

The anger from this needs to be channelled in a positive direction behind candidates who believe in a united working class fightback against cuts, privatisation and band housing. That's why Socialist Party members and others in Brum are joining the 300 plus Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition candidates standing nationally against the different shades of establishment party.

We will reject council tax increases, scrap the planned £97m of cuts and fight for the funding needed to repair our crumbing services and infrastructure. Read our full manifesto:

Make your vote count - choose the Trade Unionist and Socialist Collation (TUSC) at the ballot box on 7 May.

Together we can fight for a Birmingham where no one gets left behind!

Our candidates in Birmingham are:

Acocks Green - Eamonn Flynn and Jae Robinson

Bournbrook and Selly Park - Ben Lees

Erdington - Corinthia Ward

Nechells - Conor O'Donovan

Perry Barr - Joe Foster

Stockland Green - Ted Woodley

And in Sandwell, we are standing in

Bearwood - Richard Gingell

St Paul's - Jaykaran Singh

Building this movement requires committed socialist activists on the ground fighting for it! Could be you? Get in touch with us to discuss how you can get involved!
