Syriza Win In Greece - Now To Beat Austerity

January 25, 2015

The victory of radical left party Syriza in the Greek elections has been cheered by workers hoping for an end to austerity across Europe. But the 'Troika' of the European Central Bank, the International Monetary Fund and the EU unlikely to accept a reversal of the drastic cuts to wages, benefits and services that they imposed on the Greek working class.

How can we ensure a Syriza government gives it trousers as well as mouth? How can we stop austerity for good? And how can the crisis of the Eurozone countries be turned around?

Come to the Birmingham Central Socialist Party meeting Monday 25th, 7:30pm, top floor of The Wellington, B2 5SN and discuss all this and more!

Also, the Socialist Party is following the lead of Syriza and helping to build a political alternative to big business parties in the UK. We'll be standing across Birmingham as part of the Trade Unionist And Socialist Coalition this May. To find out how you can be a part of it, get in touch today
